The site of the Old Stirchley Village School. Since the school was removed by the museum, with apparently no requirement to tidy up the site, the council has neglected it until it is the state you see here.

Now they have deftly removed it from the park (or tried to) and regardless of covenants, they have drawn an arbitrary line surrounding a strip they want to sell off for development. This line of trees would be replaced by housing.

The Old School site is now referred to as a 'secondary entrance to Telford Town Park'. Very odd!

This is currently a pleasant, quiet entrance into the park - how long before it leads into someone's front room?
